About Immagini sull'attualità and Nodes Limited Edition Print
Immagini sull’attualità  is a column devoted to the narration via images of those themesand events having a central role in the national and international debate. This section is handed over to scholars, artists and professionals who are asked to conjugate the theme according to their own approach to research. The project is designed in collaboration with Untitled Association and it will include a limited-edition print signed by the artist.
About the tenth edition by Luca Vitone
For this issue, Nodes’ editorial staff provided the word overtourism. From this stimulus, Luca Vitone proposed Capricci. The image chosen for the tenth Nodes Limited Edition Print is a Risograph print on Favini Crush Raw Blue 250g.
The Capriccio — a genre that since the eighteenth century has combined reality and invention — becomes, for Luca Vitone, a means to explore the persistence of memory within landscapes and the power of music to keep it alive and shared. In his Capricci, from ruins and architectures emerge sonic and poetic traces that invite us to “listen” to history: an echo of forgotten stories that continues to resonate in the present, standing in contrast to the monotonous noise of global tourism.
